Hotels in the Disney area can be very expensive; in fact you will probably pay the same price for one person as you would for the entire home up to 14 people! In addition you are not just in one room, you have individual lounge, dining area, kitchen, bedrooms. If you wish to meet with other guests you've also got all the resort amenities to share. When you book, you will be required to pay a booking deposit of $300 with the balance payable 45 days before arrival.



Ordinarily your home will be available for Check-in at 4:00 pm. Your Check-out Time is 10:30 am on your departure date. A vacation home requires more time to clean than a hotel room does, so please help prepare for our next guest by checking out on time.



Yes, the Formosa Gardens Mall area has a grocery store, 24 hour Walgreen's drug store and supermarket. There are many restaurants catering for all tastes and budgets, from mouth watering steak houses to Chinese, Italian, Mexican, Asian, burger and pizza restaurants - all less than 2 miles from Oak Island Cove.



Normally the pools are not heated. Pool heating is recommended from October through April. There is an additional charge to heat your private pool, and the rates are $175 per week plus tax. You need to let the owner know in advance whether you want to take the heater option. It will take half a day to heat the pool up after it is turned off. In the event that you want to take the heater option after arrival, please contact the management company and someone will come to the villa to turn it on.



Yes, both homes have state of the art central heat, air conditioning, and ceiling fans for your comfort, and this is included in our rates.



Yes, the villas have a phone. You can make local calls and international calls free of charge. The telephone number in the house will be given to you before your arrival. There is a computer with high speed (wire and wireless) internet service.



Yes, both houses have a fully equipped kitchen, including cooking utensils, knives, forks, dishes, etc, oven and hob (cooker), microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, coffee maker, and toaster - everything you need for the perfect vacation.



Shampoo is not provided; only the first bar of soap and the first roll of toilet paper are provided. Vacation Home Standard only provides the starter set. You will need to purchase enough to last for the trip.



Yes, ample clean linen and towels are provided in each home.



The houses are baby friendly. There are 2 portable baby cribs, 1 or 2 strollers and 1 car seat in each house. Also the 6-bedroom is equipped with a baby fence surrounding the pool and a safety alarm on sliding door to pool. The 5-bedroom is equipped with a safety alarm on the sliding door to the pool. There are children's books and toys for toddlers.



There is a safe in each house. You can take the key with you while you are out of the house. However if you lose the key, there will be a $30 fee to cover the cost of making a new key and the charge for the managing agent making a special trip to the house to give you another key to open the safe.

Are there laundry facilities?

Yes, a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board are provided. You need to purchase detergent in the supermarket.

Are the properties cleaned daily?

No, the property is cleaned prior to arrival and after departure and is ordinarily included in your rate. A mid-stay cleaning can be arranged at additional cost.

Are the properties non-smoking and can I bring pets?

In accordance with Florida state Laws, all properties and communal areas are designated No Smoking areas. Most pool homes do permit smoking outside in their private pool area or patio, but absolutely no smoking is permitted inside any home. No pets are allowed.

How much deposit is required and where do we pick up the keys?

The owner will advise you of the payment terms and individual arrangements. In general the deposit is $300. Both homes are equipped with combination locks. When you arrive you can go directly to your vacation home. With your confirmation letter, you are given directions to your vacation home and instructions for keying in the codes on the combination lock. You do not have to go to a separate location for check-in or keys pick up.

What if something breaks at our home?

Both homes have a local management company available to maintain the home in tip top condition on behalf of the owner. You will be provided with their telephone number in the unlikely event that you suffer a problem with your vacation rental home.

What if we need to cancel?

We strongly recommend you to take out full holiday travel & medical insurance cover for unforeseen circumstances which may necessitate the cancellation of your booking. Policies are available through your travel agent and also through reputable companies on the Internet. The security deposit of $300 per week is refundable if nothing breaks or is lost.

Is the pool just for us?

Yes, the swimming pool in a Pool Villa is just for you.

How deep are the pools?

The pools are between 5 and 6 feet at the deep end and around 3 feet at the shallow end.

Do they all have pool screens?

Yes. Both homes with outside pools have a fine mesh screen, allowing in the glorious Florida sunshine while keeping out insects.
